TDF needs your help!

TDF has been elected as their chosen charity by Northwood Rotary 41 Club to visit the streets of Eastcote in Santa’s Sleigh. This is an annual event that spreads joy to the local community as well as supporting TDF through a fundraising collection that takes place on the night. Father Xmas (a TDF volunteer) rides on his sleigh along a number allocated streets, Festive songs are boomed from a speaker on the sleigh and Elves (TDF volunteers) follow behind collecting donations from residents and householders. Elves are free to dress up. The more dressing up the better the fun. Residents and especially the children hear the sleigh coming and are ready with donations. Last year we raised over £800!!!! Wow!!!!

Please let us know by return by emailing reception@tdf.org.uk if you would like to join us on this special night. First come first served.
Be part of this wonderful Christmas tradition with us!

Regards TEAM TDF

Tuesday 10th December
18.30 – 20.30
Eastcote (near Pinner/Northwood)
Family and friends welcome! (children need to be aged 14 and over)

Where to meet:
Everyone meets at the corner of North View Road and Boldmere Road in Eastcote
There is plenty of parking in the side streets

And what is in it for me:
Volunteers meet back at the starting point at 20.30 for a hot cup of cocoa, a mince pie and lots of good festive chatter

How do we know which streets to canvass
A 41 Club member takes the lead

Unfortunately due to staff shortages TDF will be closed on Saturday 31st August.
If you need to get in contact please leave a message on our answerphone on 0208 954 7373 or alternatively email us at info@tdf.org.uk and a member of our team will get back to you on Monday.

TDF is pleased to welcome our new reflexologist Winnie Kwok Wai Wong!!

Winnie will be volunteering on a Friday morning at TDF with slots at 9.45, 10.45 and 11.45. We are sure Winnie will prove to be very popular with our clients so if you wish to book an appointment you can contact TDF on 0208 954 7373 or email; info@tdf.org.uk.

Reflexology involves stimulation of specific points on the feet (and sometimes hands) to bring relaxation balance and healing. It can be particularly beneficial for: arthritis; insomnia; digestive problems; menopausal symptoms and stress related conditions.

One of TDF’s longstanding outreach partnerships is with Saracens
Every Monday late afternoon you can find TDF therapists offering a variety of mini treatments to the carers of adolescents on the #autism spectrum at the Saracens Sports grounds at Allianz Park
